Good morning Readers!
A bit of feedback from last week – the coffee date did not materialise. It appears that there are people that randomly make appointments and then do not keep them and avoid your phone calls. That potential client is no longer on my radar. The lesson I learned was that one cannot force people to work with you.
What’s new this week? I have just had a birthday and was given a beautiful book by Joyce Meyer called “New Beginnings”. This together with my “Positive Thoughts” devotions that I read at night helps to equip me mentally for the following day. I cannot emphasise enough the power of positivity. One attracts positivity into one’s life in all respects when in a positive groove. Being by nature a fairly negative person and a bit of a worry-pot I used to see the glass half empty rather than half full. Now with the positive devotions I am starting to see the half empty glass as three-quarters full which is a huge improvement.
I’ve found a wonderful blog http://www.positivityblog.com/index.php/2014/04/09/how-to-stay-positive/ and it’s full of tips on how to stay positive. Some of you may not enjoy reading as much as I do and this blog gives lots of different ways to generate a positive attitude.
Each day is a new day and a new beginning. I would like to encourage the new VA’s who are struggling to get clients: “Stay positive. When you are positive magic happens”.
“Get going. Move forward. Aim High. Plan a takeoff. Don’t just sit on the runway and hope someone will come along and push the airplane. It simply won’t happen. Change your attitude and gain some altitude. Believe me, you’ll love it up here.”
― Donald Trump
“It will never rain roses: when we want to have more roses, we must plant more roses.”
― George Eliot
See you on line,
