Year 2 – Week 19 – The Law of Attraction

Good morning and welcome.  Last week touched on the Law of Attraction and I said we would explore it further this week.

The Law of Attraction is a vast and sometimes controversial topic with immense possibilities and opportunities – it is up to us to grab hold of it, use it and let it do its magic.  What is it?

The Law of Attraction is a scientific law where we attract things into our lives both good and bad, consciously and subconsciously. We accept, for example, the Law of Gravity.  We don’t think to ourselves every time we throw a ball into the air, “will this ball come down?”.   The Law of Gravity is part of our daily lives.  In the same way, the Law of Attraction just “IS”.  It is a Law that can be quite confusing and annoying because we have to take responsibility for everything that happens to us.  This is not easy to accept when the things that happen to us are not great.  When we use the Law of Attraction to its fullest capacity we live lives that are exactly as we planned because we created that reality.  Sound crazy?  It is.

The resources on this topic are vast:  Louise Hay, Napoleon Hill, The Secret, The Dalai Lama, Oprah Winfrey, The Bible, Kevin Trudeau, A Course in Miracles, to name a few authors that I have read, have all expounded on this topic, explored it and lived it to its fullest.  “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive (Matthew 21:22)” takes on a whole new meaning when you realise that it is the Law of Attraction being put into practise.

I have come across a simple resource that explains the Law of Attraction so well and I encourage you to open the link and read it for yourself:  http://www.wikihow.com/Use-the-Law-of-Attraction

To sum up:  Our own reality is created both consciously and subconsciously by the Law of Attraction.  Ghandi said it beautifully:

Keep your thoughts positive
because your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive
because your words become your behaviours.
Keep your behaviours positive
because your behaviours become your habits.
Keep your habits positive
because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive
because your values become your destiny.

~ Gandhi ~

Please note that this blog post is dedicated to my journey as a Virtual Assistant.  As I learn things and glean information, I pass it over to you willingly and freely.  I am not intending this post to be an in depth look at anything I discover;  it is a little taste of something that you can explore further should you have the desire and inclination.

See you on line,
Lynne
