Year 2 – Week 8 – Let’s Improvise!

Bizzy

Hello Readers! Yes, you may well ask, what on earth is that! I’ll tell you! If you look hard enough you will find a kitten!

A very good friend of mine gave me the idea for this week’s blog post. Lindsay has a Siamese kitten who quite fancies climbing but there are no trees in his garden so he IMPROVISES! Here he is in the photograph hanging onto a carpet hanging on a washing line! I think it is hilarious.

The moral of the story?

So often we make loads of excuses as to why we are not growing our business as we should. Things like, “I’m no good with people so I don’t like networking” or “I have no real technical knowledge so how can I be a VA” or “I don’t have the time” and I can go on and on and on and on …..

We need to go about our business with intent and purpose and a wee bit of creativity, just like Bizzy hanging up in the carpet on the washing line. Bizzy wanted to climb – doesn’t know about trees – so found himself a carpet on a washing line! That is improvisation of the highest order. It’s called “making do”.

This kind of sums it up:
“Life is not always a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well.”
― Jack London

See you on line,
Lynne
