Week 18 – Marketing Challenge

Good morning and welcome Readers.   It’s so rewarding to see the reader base expanding and I would like to welcome those who are visiting for the first time today – lovely to have you here!

The focus this past week has been on marketing.  Marketing is such a complicated topic to address and this blog post is not going to address the in’s and out’s of marketing.   However, having one’s own business (in this case a Virtual Assistant), compels one to identify the basics of marketing, get to grips with it and then do it.  Easier said than done!  Here are a few quotes that mean a lot to me that can be applied to anything really, but in this case we will apply them to marketing.

“Identify your problems but give your power and energy to solutions.” Tony Robbins

“Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed.” Abraham Lincoln

Screw it, Let’s do it!” Richard Branson

Working with a marketing mentor is exhilarating, comforting and a bit of a roller coaster ride at times but it works!  Having someone in your camp that finds the solutions to the problems being experienced in obtaining an ideal client base is such a relief and so rewarding!

I obtained my very first client with a “hole in one” and I thought that was quite normal.  It turns out it is not and that you could take between 4 and 20 strokes to sink your ball or in this case land your client.

I have set myself a challenge and that is to try and get two clients in the next 30 days.  Almost impossible, but quite achievable!

As Richard Branson says”  “………….. LET’S DO IT”!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you on line,
Lynne
