Week 9

Welcome readers!

Well, we are still in holiday mode. The weather is fantastic, still have lots of treats in the cupboard left over from Christmas, unread magazines and books bought for the holidays and generally have that holiday feeling. How to get motivated?

Mmmmm …

Well, we’ve established the importance of routine and self-discipline (boring but essential). What about motivation?

The biggest factor motivating me today is the fact that being the boss and owning my own VA business means that when I take a holiday I don’t get paid. So come on girl – get a move on!

Back to basics – shower, dress, make-up, breakfast and off to the corner in the lounge. I really want to go to the beach. Apparently the movie “Lincoln” is a must-see. Oh dear … how to get the mojo back? Well, here are a few brilliant motivational quotes to kick off the new year. They are so inspiring – enjoy!

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
Aristotle

The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
Arthur C. Clarke

Without inspiration the best powers of the mind remain dormant. There is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks.
Johann Gottfried Von Herder

Work spares us from three evils: boredom, vice, and need.
Voltaire

You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind.

He who hesitates is lost.

naturally like your website however you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very bothersome to tell the reality then again Iˇ¦ll certainly come back again.

Dear Amedar – thanks for your comments. I can’t find a single spelling mistake – I am not American. We here in South Africa use the British way of spelling. Glad you will in any event re-visit the blog. Look forward to your comments.
